Jonathan R. Grover

Born in Logan, Utah in 1974. He was raised on a small family farm and worked in agri-business and horticulture, prior to law school. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Prelaw, with a minor in Philosophy and a Liberal Arts and Sciences Certificate from Utah State University in 1997. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, San Diego, California in 2001. He is admitted to practice before all courts in the states of Utah, California and Idaho, as well as the United States District Court for the Districts of Utah, and Idaho. Jonathan is a member of the Box Elder County Bar Association, Cache County Bar Association, Kiwanis Club, Lions Club, and Bear River Valley Hospital Board.

Jonathan has worked for the Law Offices of Anh Viet Pham in Westminster, California, as well as Olson & Hoggan, P.C. in Logan, Utah. In 2004, Jonathan became a founding partner in Evans, Grover & Beins, P.C. Areas of practice include: Agriculture, Civil Litigation, Contracts, Criminal Defense, Divorce, Family Law, Personal Injury, Real Estate, and Trusts, Wills & Estate Planning.

Jonathan is married to his wife Loni and has 3 children. He enjoys spending time with his family, snowmobiling, waterskiing, reading, farming and gardening.

Christopher A. Beins

One of the founding members of Evans, Grover & Beins, P.C., was born in Utah but raised in Soda Springs, Idaho. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree, with duel majors in German language and literature, and Political Science, with a certificate in International Relations, from Southern Utah University in 1999. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Western State University College of Law, Fullerton , California in 2002.

Chris is admitted to practice before all Courts in Utah and the United States District Court for the District of Utah. Chris is a member of the American Bar Association, Family Law Bar, Bankruptcy Bar, and the Box Elder Bar Association. Chris was appointed and currently sits on the Executive Family Law Committee for the Utah State Bar representing the First District and a good portion of northern Utah vetting all family law legislation before it is disseminated to the Family Law Bar as a whole and ultimately passed into law.

Areas of practice include: Agriculture, Bankruptcy, Business Litigation, Personal Injury, Insurance, Real Estate, Family and Divorce, and Criminal Defense.

Chris clerked for the Honorable Don L. Harding, Presiding Judge of the 6th District Court of Idaho for the years 2003-2004. During his time with the Court, he researched and drafted decisions for the Court on virtually every imaginable area the law touches. While in law school, Chris clerked full-time for Bollington, Augustine & Chase in Brea, California, in-house counsel for one of California ’s largest insurance companies.

Chris is married to Allison and together they have three beautiful daughters. Chris, Allison & their girls have an award winning registered herd of Simmental and Angus cattle and they enjoy exhibiting these cattle across the United States.

Chris volunteers with many civic organizations, is on the County Fair Board, and is currently president of the Utah Beef Improvement Association.

Gregory W. Marsh​

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Middle East Studies/Arabic, and later studied Hebrew and Arabic at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

After several years teaching music and singing in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Gregory and his family moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he received his Juris Doctor degree from the

University of Michigan Law School in 2021. He later joined EVANS, GROVER & BEINS as an associate attorney in May 2022. He is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of Utah, and the United States District Court for the District of Utah.

Gregory and his family enjoy, hiking, reading, eating ice cream, and performing symphonic and chamber music together.

In Memoriam: Bruce C Evans, 1956-2010

Prior to attending law school, Bruce worked as an Army Counterintelligence Officer with assignments in Judge Advocate. He served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney from 1992 to 1995. Bruce  served as a Colonel in the Air National Guard. After leaving active duty in 1995, Bruce spent two years with OLSON & HOGGAN, P.C., in Logan, Utah. He returned to government service and started a solo practice in 1997 before beginning with EVANS, GROVER & BEINS, P.C, in 2004. Bruce passed away in 2010.

In Memoriam: Bruce C Evans,
1956-2010

Bruce C. Evans was born in Boise, Idaho, in 1956. He was raised in Garland, Utah, where he attended Bear River High School. 

He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a minor in Music, at Utah State University in 1983. He received a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1988. 

He attended law school under the prestigious Army Funded Legal Education Program and received his Juris Doctor Degree (cum laude) from J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah, in 1991. 

He also received a two-year departmental scholarship from the Law School. He practiced before all courts in Utah, the Army Court of Criminal Appeals, and the United States District Court for the District of Utah. Bruce was a life member of Pi Alpha Alpha, a national public administration honor society, and was an Associate Editor and later Editor of the Brigham Young University Journal of Public Law.
